Area of Interests

genomics and bioinformatics. Specifically,  focus on 1) Algorithms/Methods development for the analysis of massive parallel sequencing data; 2) Reference database and infrastructure development for the storage, query, summarization, and visualization of the disease-associated mutations/variants and false variants; 3) Genomics of cancer development, evolution, progression, and therapy responses; 4) Genetic risk factor identification from exome and whole-genome sequencing data of brain degenerative diseases including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, and Frontotemporal dementia; and 5) Identification of novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers from genomics data of patients receiving Immunotherapies.
